The fabric strap slides over the earpieces so easily that my 3-year-old can put his sunglasses on by himself now. It's stayed put through the splash pad and a whole afternoon at the playground without slipping off once.

My toddler yanks his sunglasses off constantly and these straps have kept them from hitting the pavement at least a dozen times. The fabric is soft enough that it doesn't bug his ears, and it stays put through the playground and the stroller.
